Stage 13: Albi Time Trial

Today was a 54 km time trial around the town of Albi in the Tarn region. It was dry for the first 20 or so riders in the morning and then it poured for a few hours. By the time the favorites came through the rain stopped and they were racing on a not so dangerous road. A lot changed today and some names moved up and some dropped back. Vinokourov, who won the stage moved ahead but is still 5 minutes behind. Rasmussen lost a bit of time and Evans is now only 1 minute behind. Evans can climb and he can time trial, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the Pyrenees and then the final time trial.
