Stage 06: Semur-en-Auxois to Bourg-en-Bresse

Today was another relatively flat stage, the last one before the Alps tomorrow. Bradley Wiggins from the Cofidis team went on a solo break early in the race. He maintained it most of the day in the heat until the peloton caught him and gobbled him up. Tom Boonen took the sprint at the finish line with Freire, Zabel and Hushovd not far behind.
