Stage 03: Waregem - Compiegne

Today has to be the most boring stage of the race. The Tour de France is not exciting every single day and today proved that. It was an incredibly boring stage both action-wise and scenery-wise, with gray skies all day! The terrain was flat and not particularly scenic. That combined with an overcast sky all day, I think made everyone kind of sleepy. The peloton loped along so slowly that they finished more than an hour and a half behind the slowest time predicted. Fortunately, Fabian Cancellara crossed the finish line first with his arms up and in the yellow jersey, which made for a great photo.
