Follow along with the IMG 2005 IMG Everest Expedition as leader Mark Tucker, along with Eric Simonson and Dave Hahn, report in every day for GreatOutdoors.com. On summit day, Mark Tucker will keep GreatOutdoors.com readers updated continuously on the progress of the summit teams.

The climbers are committed to keeping GreatOutdoors.com readers posted on the latest developments. But those following the action should understand that in the harsh environment of the high Himalaya, equipment is prone to sudden failure, batteries go dead unexpectedly, and team leaders might at times choose the safety of a tent over making a satellite call in the open with freezing fingers. In the course of the six week climb, the occasional glitch can be expected.
