Email Marketing Manager

Altrec.com, a leading e-commerce retailer of performance outdoor gear and clothing, is seeking to add an experienced Email expert to our growing team. We are a fast-paced organization, focused on exceeding the expectations of our customers. The business was established in 1997 and has positioned itself as a leader in innovation in the outdoor online market. The company is committed to long term positive impacts in the outdoor lives of both our consumers and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Planning, coordinating, and analyzing email marketing programs supporting multiple marketing objectives
  • Continually testing, analyzing and optimizing target criteria, content, landing pages, forms, etc. to increase open, click, lead, and application rates and exceed expectations.
  • Providing comprehensive tracking, analysis, and reporting for all email marketing efforts.
  • Plan and manage email segmentation strategy and contact plans to increase customer retention.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports measuring the performance of email conversion, in particular the number of campaigns sent, open rates, clickthru rates, total value of sales, increased retention and impact on lifetime value of the customer.
 
Requirements:
  • 4+ years work experience in email marketing, ideally B2C experience
  • Ability to strategically interpret data and successfully develop recommendations.
  • Intimate knowledge of email communication strategy -- both written and visual, deliverability, and segmentation practices.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using email distribution applications to evaluate campaign performance.
  • Solid writing skills, particularly the ability to organize information succinctly and logically for providing metrics and reports to leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
