Dispatch 32: Back Enjoying the Comforts of Base Camp

Hey this is Dave and I'm on Everest, but I'm back down at Base Camp. Our trip is going pretty well, we had a few members go up, Paula and Fiona went back up toward, well they are in Camp I tonight, and Dennis went up, I think he went up to Camp II. And a number of us came down today. I finally decided it wasn't worth it for me to go up on the Lhotse Face this time, this was my sixth day up, I decided to come down and me and Justin Merle headed out about 7 a.m. this morning from ABC bound for Base Camp, took about two and half or three hours to come down, pretty nice morning, nice and calm. Sophia came down, also, John and JF came down, so a fair number of us came down today, it's really nice to be down here where it's comfortable, where the air is thick and it's a little bit warmer. Although today after a nice morning it was snowing again down here at base camp in the afternoon, snowed about 3 or 4 inches this evening. Even so it's nice to be down here where there is lots of food and you feel like eating it, and where you can get clean and get good rest. It's good to be down here. Bye now.
