Where do I pick up my race registration? Is there any late race packet pickup allowed?

Bib pick-up is May 16th, 11:00am to 8:00pm in Les Schwab Amphitheater (behind the stage). If you miss it, there will be an Emergency Bib Pickup from 6:30am to 7:00am the day of the race at the same location. DO NOT GO TO THE MOUNTAIN WITHOUT YOUR BIBS OR LIFT TICKETS ON RACE DAY. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION AT THE MOUNTAIN!

What are the starting times for Check-in, Race Start and the Post-Race Party?

You will receive a postcard approximately one week prior to the race with your start time and bib number. Please bring the postcard with you to the Registration on Friday, May 16th. Only individual competitors and the team captains will receive these mailings.

Will the race route be disclosed to the teams prior to the race?

The race routes will be in your race packet and are available on the Race Info page.

Will there be any post race activities at the end of the race course?

There will be food, beer and an awards ceremony at the Les Schwab Amphitheatre starting at 10:00 am.

Do I need to display my race numbers during the race?

Yes. You will find multiple numbers and bibs in your race packet for you or the members in your race group.

This is my first year, where do I go for the inside scoop on the PPP?

GreatOutdoors.com will have insider race tips, a community forum for discussing the different legs, and of course post-race activities.

Where can I rent equipment like skate skis or a fast boat for the race?

Get them early! Shops in Bend, Eugene and Portland often times rent gear months in advance for the PPP-it's a big event!

Are there age limits or requirements for the PPP?

No. If you can finish a leg, then you can compete.

What organization gets the proceeds from the PPP?

Proceeds from the PPP go towards the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation. More on the Race Info page.

Where should I go to get post-race rowdy?

Deschutes Brewery, McMenamins, Bend Brewing Company or Cascade Lakes Brewery all have good food and dark antioxidant-rich beer for post race replacement.

Where can I find things like race schedules and race results?

GreatOtdoors.com will have schedules, results and other pertinent info on the site.

 

My kids want to do the race as well. Is there a race for kids?

Yes, there's a Kid's PPP on Sunday, May 18th in Bend. This challenging but shortened course is perfect for your 1st-6th grader. More information about the Kid's PPP at mbsef.org.
