In this episode of Travels to the Edge with Art Wolfe, Art visits one of the earth’s most extreme environments — The Southern Ocean boarder Antarctica, and South Georgia Island. Known as the Antarctic Oasis, South Georgia is a haven for wildlife from the region, including albatross, king penguins, various species of seals, including elephant seals. But most striking is the landscape in this wild place. For anyone interested in adventure in pristine environments, South Georgia Island delivers. Art’s images tell a story of nature at its wildest.
