Dave Hahn here at Camp I, just under 20,000 feet, sitting in our little cook tent here with Nicky Messner and Sanduk Dorje. I think we're the only people in Camp I. I know we're the only people in our Camp I and there doesn't seem to be anybody in the 50 or 60 tents around us anymore. So we are a little bit off the normal cycles people are on. Had a great time walking through the icefall this morning, little bit cloudy, a bank of fog rolled in, made it kind of eerie walking though the icefall. There just weren't any people that we were encountering. Then near the top of the Icefall we ran into about 100 people trying to come down, a big traffic jam on one awkward set of ladders over a big crevasses, so we had to wait a little bit but also saw a number of our friends and my fellow guides waiting in the line. Didn't end up too bad for us, got here at mid morning then spent most of the day in our tents here at Camp I, snowing pretty good throughout the day. Elsewhere on the mountain, our team made pretty good progress, a number of our Sherpas made it to the South Col today, at 26,000 feet and about 22 more of them will take aim at it tomorrow, so that's pretty good, and another of our teammates reached Camp III, tagged Camp III and came back down. So Nicky and Sanduk and I will be the only ones going up for now, and many other teams will be pulling off the mountain for now to get ready for their summit bids. All for now, talk to you soon.
