Great Outdoors, Dave Hahn at Everest Base Camp. A slightly snowy day today. We can still have pretty good views of the Icefall and up the mountain. It looked pretty calm up top from what I can tell from down here. Had a nice rest day. Just what the doctor ordered down here in Base Camp. Relaxing and eating well. Drinking a bunch of water. Everything's good. It's been pretty incredible to watch everything kick into action now that the restrictions are off. Our expedition leaders, Ang Jangbu and Mark Tucker, along with our sherpa Sirdar Ang Passang had been working a lot this last couple weeks to coordinate an effort between a few teams for material and manpower when the restriction was finally dropped and today it really kicked into gear. In fact, ropes were fixed yesterday and today all the way to Camp III on the Lhotse face and that involved a few of our sherpa team and tomorrow we've got about six sherpas heading up to formally establish our Camp III, build tents up there and everything. And the effort continues, they're gonna roll right on through. We're part of another consortium of teams pooling efforts. The work is going to go right on tomorrow, hopefully as far as the yellow van at 25,000. So fixing is going incredibly well after so weeks of inactivity, relative inactivity, and most of our team headed up today. Most of our team is now at Camp II. They're all hoping to sleep at Camp III when it gets established. So things are moving down here. And I'll let you know. Bye now.
