IMG 2008 Everest Expedition Approaches Halfway Point

Namaste, Mark Tucker here. Greetings from Base Camp on the south side of Mount Everest. I would say that the spring of 08 climbing season is officially halfway over. At ths time I'd like to recognize the great job that the team I'm working with has done so far. You know, staying healthy and strong through the initial phase of a big climb like this, 11 days of trek in, two weeks of preparation and acclimatization at about 17,500 feet, they've now done their first couple of rotations or forays up through the notorious Khumbu Icefall, and sleeping at Camp I or II, both at or around 20,000 feet. Just another day in the office, huh? You know, having a positive this phase of the climb is just so important to the success of the climb later. They are really developing a certain confidence, I like to call it a sort of power or inner strength that they develop. And mark my words, that all will use this resource at some point enroute if they are to stand on top of the world. May the force be with them.
Dan Allen at C3?
Do you have any information about Dan Allen, supposedly at C3?
