Heading Through the Icefall to Camp I

GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave calling from Everest Base Camp. Everything is going well here, Nicky Messner and Sanduk and I are going to get up early and head up through the Icefall to Camp I for the first sleeping round at Camp I. We had a number of teammates that were up there these last couple of nights, they are all down right now. At present the IMG team is all in base camp, everybody is here. So Nicky and Greg and I will head up along with a few of our camp II cooks who will be acclimatizing at camp I. The route just got in to Camp II now, we had about 25 Sherpas make the trip up to Camp II from Base Camp today carrying loads up, so we've got a Camp II established although the tents aren't there, we don't have people there yet, Again it's dragging a little bit behind normal this year but we are on the road to Camp II. Nicky and I hope to touch Camp II this time but not sleep there. And I'll let you know how our move up to Camp I goes. Bye for now.
