John Stetson here, we're still up in Pond Inlet. Ed and I went out today for a nice ski, took a look around and enjoyed the good day we had here. A little bad news, the park office is closed and we need a permit. To get up into Sirmilik National Park we need a permit and the office won't be open until Monday. That gives us a chance to do a little more skiing, looking around a bit, talking to the Inuit and that's been very informative. Sirmilik is known as place of glaciers, there's an ice cap up on top where Ed and I intend to head up to, and these guys have seen a lot of change, incredibly diverse area around here, with the marine life, narwhals, belugas, and polar bears, also caribou in the neighborhood. Up where we're going we're unlikely to see any of that, maybe we‘ll get down and see some caribou somewhere. But today was good, we got all packed up now we're just doing our last little things and ready to head out. We have beautiful weather so far and we hope that will continue for a while to give us a chance to get out of town on Monday. Thanks for listening and tuning in, we'll talk to you tomorrow.
problem with audio
hey your audio phone klips are messed up, sounds like alvin and chipmunks........checked all 3 posts
in the old days you could just hold the turntable to slow down the record spin, not sure how to get my finger into the hard drive today so hope you can fix the source.

Audio now more compatible
The phone clips weren't playing nicely with older Flash plugins (versions lower than 9), but they've been re-encoded and should sound less "chipmunky".
Thanks!
