Hello great outdoors.com this is Dave Hahn at Everest Base camp with the IMG Everest trip. Yesterday another quiet day at Base Camp. The route through the Khumbu Icefall still isn't in yet, so we're still doing projects down here below. Yesterday we worked on establishing a new helicopter landing pad, trying to get it away from where the tents are because there is some dangers with these helicopters flying in here as they crash a little too often. Yesterday all we were doing is moving a bunch of rocks around to get a flat place, so we made a little progress with that. Weather hasn't been too bad, it's been snowing a little bit every afternoon and evening. Starting to be a lot of teams rolling in, starting to see some familiar faces, saw Guy Cotter, Vern Tejas, Dave Morton, starting to see all the usual suspects up here at Everest Base camp. All for now, I'll be in touch later.
