Hello, GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave Hahn calling from Everest base camp. Not too much going on here today. The icefall team is still working on putting the ladders and fixing rope in there. Some of out team was familiarizing themselves with the lower parts of the icefall, maybe the first third of the Khumbu icefall, checking out the route getting their systems down. Me I went hiking down glacier out on the Khumbu on the dry part of the glacier, walking down the moraine, looking around, stretching my legs. Otherwise were playing games, we're reading, we're eating, we're getting used to the altitude. Weather wasn't too bad today, mostly sunny, it's mostly cloudy with a little bit of snow right now, but not too bad, generally a good day up here. I'll send you some photos tomorrow, show you a little bit more of Everest base camp and the surrounding mountains. Bye for now.
