Hey, GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave Hahn and I'm a whole lot lower right now, down below Namche and my way to Lukla. Yesterday was a pretty fun day, as much fun as I've had in a long time, went down with five or six of our climbing sherpa team and three of our cooks and Ang Jangbu and Mark Tucker and just cruised, walked fast out of base camp and went all the way to Namche. A long day but really fun to be moving at Sherpa speed. The thing about being at Everest Base Camp for two months is that you don't go anywhere fast. You just kind of grind up and down the hill. So this was really nice to be moving again, see some scenery, come down where things are going growing, we went through beautiful rhododendron forests by Deboche and Pangboche, white rhododendron flowers, yellow rhododendron flowers, it was really nice. Just keeps getting better ad easier as we get lower. We'll let you know how it goes. We're hoping to fly out of Lukla today, but we'll see, it might be a day playing cards. We'll see.
