Hey, this is Dave at Everest Base Camp, it's a little after 10 in the morning and this is probably the nicest day of the season so far, the forecast did call for good weather, but today is spectacular weather. Just before six this morning I was lying in bed and could hear cheering around camp and predictably a few of the teams going for the summit from the South Col today were making the summit and it sounds like things are going real well up there. Our team, we've got folks moving from base camp up to Camp I and folks moving from II to III today, so almost all of our team is up the mountain. And yeah, I'm sorry to see my chess partners and scrabble partners and card playing partners head up the hill and be left here, but on the other hand I'm kind of happy to have it nice and quiet here at base camp. Terrible. But yeah, I'm enjoying it down here and very clear in my mind that it's good to be here. Hadn't realized how much it took out of me that week at altitude on that last rotation. Tough to realize it till you're feeling good again how you weren't feeling good. Now I'm feeling strong, energetic and realizing how tired I was when I came down. It's a surprise, you'd think it wouldn't have that effect on me or it would only take a day or two to shrug it off, but no it had it's effect and now I could tell that, feeling good again, and yeah I'm definitely feeling ready and will hopefully go up in the next couple of days. I'll be back with a little bit more.
