Dispatch 47: IMG Summit Total Now up to 17

Hey this is Dave Hahn calling GreatOutdoors.com. I'm still at Base Camp. I woke up this morning and found out that Brenda and Danuru and Mingma Tenzing summitted at about 3 in the morning so the bad weather I was running down from turned out to be really good weather and they made good use of it. And so of course I'm very happy for them, they got down safe to ABC today, but yeah I sure wish I had been up there with them. I'm going to go back up tomorrow and give it another try, and the forecasts are for slightly better weather now than what they were calling for when I came down so should be able to make it work, we'll see. There's a lot of cheering going around all over camp, you can hear people yelling and celebrating, there's been a bunch of summits these past few days and a few incidents and accidents but for the most part things are going okay here on the South Side of Everest. And I'll keep letting you know. Bye for now.
