Hey, GreatOutdoors, this is Dave, and I'm back down at Everest Base Camp. I woke up this morning at 4:30 at Camp III on the Lhotse Face and as planned we had a weather forecast that we listened into on the radio. And didn't like the weather forecast, didn't look good, I felt like I had missed the window for climbing, and looking out the tent things didn't look much better. So I decided to come down, other people made different decisions, sounds like their decisions are paying off, it's calm right now up at the South Col. Brenda went up from Camp III and she's starting for the summit. Sophia and Pa Naru and Mingma summitted this morning, they summitted good and early, seven something this morning, weather was thin--it still looks pretty windy up there but then they had not too bad a day from what I hear, they really took advantage of it. John went for it, he turned around before the Balcony, he's back at ABC tonight. Let's see, Paul and Fiona and Dennis stayed at ABC today, they are waiting, hoping that in a couple of days the weather is a little bit better. I'm hoping for the same thing, going to go back up from here ina couple of day. Right now I'm hoping those guys get good weather tonight, sounds like they got a good start for their summit day. Brenda is going up with Danaru, I'm rooting for them, and also wishing I was up there. Bye for now.
