Hey GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave Hahn calling from Camp II, 21,500, something like that. Hey, a lot going on today a lot going on, everybody's on the move and we had our first summits from the south side of the mountain today. A bunch of us were listening all day long to Kent McCool who was leading the Jagged Globe group, and they finally got up today about 12 minutes after 3 in the afternoon. It was slow going even though the route had been fixed to the Balcony already . . .deep snow that these guys had to work through and they were fixing rope. So we were all rooting for them because of course their success will help all of us. There's a bunch of people, lots of teams moving up to the South Col today and tomorrow and the next day, so everybody was wanting these guys to succeed today. But we were all a little nervous, they were going late getting on top at 3:12 and we're hoping they did well, and I'm sure they are moving as fast as they can coming down now. Seems like the weather is holding for them. But that's pretty good stuff. Bye now.
