Hey this is Dave Hahn calling GreatOutdoors.com, still at Base Camp but gearing up to go up. Kind of an exciting day around here, two of our strong Sherpa team, Danaru and Tashi, with 16 Everest summits between them, today lead the charge fixing rope up above the South Col, and they fixed all the way up to the balcony, 27,500 feet, and that means the door is getting open to the south side of Mount Everest. There are a few teams sleeping up at the South Col tonight, nobody from our team tonight but there are some other teams up there and they are hoping to push it up in the morning and fix the rest of the summit and get themselves up. And of course we are rooting for them because we've got two members sleeping at Camp III tonight so that's just what we want for them. And I'm probably going to head up in the morning, I've been getting ready all day, getting psyched for it, we got good forecasts, or forecast for good weather, good enough weather, so we're hoping to do this thing. It is getting kind of exciting now and I'll let you know how it goes.
