LISTEN:

As I said I was up at Camp III for about an hour this morning and had a pleasant enough walk down, I was back here at advance base camp by 10:30-10:40 in the morning, and a nice pretty restful day, taking it easy here and going to spend one last night here at camp II and head down to base camp in the morning and rest up for the summit push. It might seem kind of silly to go all the way down to base camp for that rest, but you can't get real rest here at 21,300 feet, you're just deteriorating steadily even as you are acclimatizing. So you have to balance that, when it's time for real rest and recuperation you gotta go back down to base camp, gotta go through the icefall. So I'll do that tomorrow morning and of course I'm looking forward to being back down in the comforts of base camp. And, but not minding one more night up here it's been kind of nice, been quiet.
