Hey GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave Hahn, I'm back down at base camp after four nights up above, three nights at Camp II and one night up at Camp III on the Lhotse Face. And boy it's great to be back down, it's so much more comfortable here, not a whole lot of good sleep to be had up there, and despite the good food available, it's tougher to eat, tougher to drink, everything is a little easier down here. So it's nice to be back down here. Had a smooth and easy trip down through the icefall, seeing lots of folks on their way up, lot of the first groups hoping to summit from most of the teams, including ours. Couple of our strong Sherpas went up this morning hoping to be a part a team fixing rope above the South Col, that was Danaru and Tashi. And then some of our team members were heading up to advance base camp, Camp II, today as well, hoping to get in just after that fixing and be up there for a summit attempt like the 17th or so. So things are really starting to move and everybody starting to focus on the summit, but the weather is not perfect yet, today was kind of cloudy and snowy most of the day so everybody is kind of going on faith that the weather is going to be good but right now it's not perfect yet. But things are starting to happen here, I'll let you know how it goes.
