Hey, this is Dave Hahn at International Mountain Guides Advance Base Camp at 21,300 feet. Exciting day for me today, got up at about 3:30, which was a little bit later than planned, it had snowed and continued to snow during the night so we pushed back the start. I tagged along, six of our Sherpas were carrying the final loads to the South Col, final loads for the IMG team. And about 60 Sherpas from other teams going up there as well and it was my first time up on the Lhotse Face since back in October. And neat to see, I kept thinking of Rob and Kit DesLaurier and Jimmy Chin because ski conditions out there now were far better than what they skied in October, it almost made me wish I had a pair of skis, I probably could have made some turns. But I went up passed Camp III, climbed up through the Yellow Band at 25,000 feet, and touched the base of the Geneva Spur, and about that point a lot of the Sherpas were coming down, and I was starting to get kind of winded and suffering from the heat in my down suit. So I turned around then and got back here about 4 o'clock. So wonderful day for me, and exciting to be up there and looking out over the world again.
