Hey, this is Dave Hahn on the south side of Mount Everest, calling from a different camp for once, I'm up at Camp II Advance Base Camp. Had a nice walk up this morning, I got out of camp about 10 minutes after five, it had been snowing yesterday afternoon and evening, and I was a little surprised that I ended up out ahead of the other Sherpas and climbers that were out, so I got my work out in this morning kicking steps in new snow, it only snowed a couple of inches but if filled in on the climbing route pretty well, just made for a good work out. But the other interesting thing about it is that I pretty much had the place to myself. Just ended up for hours just climbing by myself. You hear about all the hundreds of climbers are here and assume it must always be crowded, but no, not very crowded at all, a pleasant morning. Took me a little bit longer than usual to get to ABC, but that was okay feeling pretty good. Met Casey, fellow Rainier guide on the descent, and right now I'm up with Casey's partner Make Haugen in the famous Coleman tent at Advance Base Camp. Mike spent last night up at Camp III and he is going to head for base camp for a rest tomorrow, so we're overlapping a little bit. We also had a number of Sherpas carry to the South Col today, there were a lot of people from other teams, a lot of Sherpas also carrying up to the Col and back. Nice day up here, I think it's snowing again at base camp. Bye for now.
