Hey, this is Dave at Everest Base Camp, and I had a great rest day today, taking it easy at base camp and I'm feeling pretty strong. It's kind of a delicate balancing act, otherwise known as trying to get enough rest without being too lazy. Right now debating whether to go up tomorrow to ABC, as I was saying I want to spend about a week there on this next round, but I might push it back a day. It keeps snowing every afternoon, which isn't too bad, but also we've got about 50 people at advance base camp right now between our Sherpas, our Western climbers, and Eastern climbers, that's kind of a lot of climbers so I might give them a little time before I got up, certainly another day of rest would benefit me. Spent the day down here with Ang Jangbu and Mark Tucker and our cook Pemba, just a very relaxing day down here. Met Lydia Brady, she was coming through, she was guiding a trek for Jagged Globe and she stopped by our Base Camp, interesting to meet her, she was the first woman to climb Everest without oxygen back in 1988, New Zealander, nice to chat with her a little bit today. Otherwise just taking it easy down here at base camp, feeling strong, feeling ready to go up but also not minding taking another day down below. We had about 9 Sherpas today from our team go to the South Col, carry more loads up there so we're sitting pretty that way. And I'll let you know what I decide about going up or down. Bye for now.
