Hey, GreatOutdoors, this is Dave and today was May 1 over on this side of the ocean, and a fairly exciting day for me, I wend for another round trip, base camp to Camp II to base camp carry today, got up good and early, was out of here before five in the morning, got up there for a late breakfast, carrying a load. I've got all my gear that I need up there at Camp II, ABC, so I'm well staged, and I got my good 8 and half hour workout in today, stepped across a million bridges and crevasses again, that all went really well, obviously had me fired up and felt pretty good at it. Maybe more significantly today the route got fixed to the South Col, Henry Todd's Sherpa team was up there pushing it, but in the end it sounded like Danaru of our team, that I've climbed to the summit with a number of times, Danaru, who wasn't going up there to fix rope but in the end fixed it through the Geneva Spur and a key piece, got it in to the South Col, that's good for us, that's good for everybody on this side of the mountain. The route goes to the South Col at about 8,000 meters now. So that's great. Came back down here, sat in on a little meeting with a couple of trip leaders trying to figure out the next stage of things, fixing line up the Balcony at 27 five. So I'm going to go around with Mark Tucker tomorrow and we'll make sure that some folks are going to contribute to that effort, because that's the next order of business for pushing the route to the top. All for now. And I'm gong to take it easy tomorrow, rest either one day or two days before I head up and stay about a week at advance base camp. Bye.
