Dispatch 31: Base Camp Update

Hey, this is Dave at Everest Base Camp. Not a whole lot went on on this side of the mountain today. The route still hasn't been fixed all the way to the South Col. To this point it's fixed to part way between the yellow band and . . . . transmission failure . . . . And then all the way down to Advanced Base Camp . . . . . transmission failure . . . . Again our expedition leader Mark Tucker who owes a dinner to Bill Crowse on the north side, because they had their bet again and we lost. But we're not too worried about that, we'll get things going, the route should be fixed in the South Col in the next few days. Me, I rested pretty hard today, played some games of scrabble, took it easy, read, and I'll try to do another carry up to Camp II and back to Base Camp again tomorrow, up through the Icefall again in the morning. I'll let you know how it goes.
