Hello GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave, I'm up at Camp II. Today was an interesting day. We got our Camp III established at about 24,000 feet on the Lhotse Face, Camp II is 21,350, something like that. Our Sherpas were able to get six tents built up at Camp III today, but it was kind of an exciting day. Just as our members were getting on the Lhotse Face, couple of hours out of camp the wind came up kind of strong. I was just going up to the base of the face to stretch my legs but I watched these BIG gusts of wind sweeping across the southwest face of Everest. A lot of people turned around. But, let's see, we got Justin Merle up there today, along with John and JF and Sophia along with three Sherpas, Panaru, and Punaru and Dawa, and those guys are spending the night up there, I don't think there are too many other people spending the night at III though ( . . . satellite transmission breaks up . . . )
