Hey, this is Dave at Base Camp. I'm feeling a lot more excited about climbing the mountain today. I took another rest day. A few of the guys went up today, the South Africans, and Casey and Mike. It was a little nicer weather today, it didn't snow on us today, which was nice. It was pretty windy this morning, tents were blowing around a lot here at Base Camp. But that pretty much died out by noon, and turned into a nice day. I went for a good hike, a long hike out in the Khumbu Glacier, lower Khumbu Glacier, looking around and stretching my legs, and getting my head around going up the mountain. I think I'll go up tomorrow and do a carry - carry some more of my gear up to Advanced Base Camp and come all the way back down here to Base Camp. We'll see how that goes, cover some good distances. Today there were a couple of massive avalanches off the Lo La just here near Base Camp that dusted the upper edges of Base Camp and dusted - I could see a bunch of climbers coming down near the bottom of the Icefall and it covered them in the cloud but not the debris, so everybody was all right. But pretty exciting avalanches to watch. Things are going alright here at Base camp, Bye for now.
