GreatOutdoors, this is Dave, and Larry up at Camp I. Today we went on up to Camp II for a nice hike, spent the day walking through the amazing canyons and crevasses at the lower Western Cwm and then we had lunch at Camp II, Mingma served us some dahlbat and juice, a welcome reward. We got great views of the SW face of Everest, and the Lhotse Face, we saw climbers going up to Camp III on the Lhotse Face just wonderful views of the Nuptse walls all along. We got back here to Camp I about 3 in the afternoon, eating dinner now. It clouded up again in the afternoon the way it has been, snowing . . . . satellite transmission fails . .. eating down some luscious fare and tomorrow morning we're going to head on down to base camp, down through the Icefall. So that's all from about 20,000 feet in the Himalaya. Bye.
