Dispatch 24: Site for Camp III Established

Hey GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave, I'm at Base Camp. Today our Sherpas DaNuru and Nima Karma made it all the way to Camp III on the Lhotse Face and claimed a campsite for us. It's a steep area so it's pretty important to claim a flat spot if you've got a big team for getting some tents in. So DaNuaru lead the charge and got that site. Justin and Brenda came down from Camp II today and Paul and Fiona moved up from Camp I and everybody else stayed put. Lots of people planning to move around tomorrow. I'm still laying low hoping my leg will heal up more thoroughly if I give it some rest. And we'll see. It was a windy, cold day today, kind of snowed in the afternoon, the way it's been almost every day. Things are going okay, we're making progress. Talk to you soon.
