Hello great outdoors.com this is Dave Hahn at Everest Base Camp. The storm finally ended and left a bunch of snow in the Western Cwm and the Khumbu Icefall. And it took most of the day for our folks that were at Camp I to get down. It took a crew of Sherpas from other teams at least six hours going up, maybe a little bit longer, trying to break a trail up through the icefall, and some Sherpas from Adventure Consultants were coming down from Camp II. But we were hearing stories about people wading around in chest deep snow up there in the Western Cwm. But we're pretty happy, our whole team is back down, safely. The weather is decent again so it sounds like we're good to go tomorrow and our Sherpa team is going to be back in action carrying loads up to Camp II and inhabiting Camp II. The avalanches are still coming down, sounds like it was pretty exciting up in the Western Cwm, but nothing hit our camp. That's all for now.
