Hello great outdoors.com this is Dave Hahn at Everest Base Camp on the IMG team. Today was the second day of snow, it snowed again through the night and it blew a bit, a little more than it usually does at base camp. It snowed a whole lot more at Camp I, talking to our team there they described it as waist deep, and chest deep even. So nobody went anywhere. One team, Jagged Globe, tried to get down from Camp I but had to go back up. Our team stayed put and sat the storm out and acclimatized. They seem to doing well at one, and we're doing well down here. The snow tapered off in the afternoon and it actually got a little bit warmer for a while, which was nice. And the snow is settling out and avalanching off the hills around us. Things are going well. It seems like a laid back atmosphere today, since nobody could go anywhere, nobody could climb, everybody just took it easy, got up late, rested well. So that's what we're doing here. Hopefully tomorrow is going to be better weather and we can get on with the climbing program. Bye for now.
