Dispatch 16: Into the Icefall

Editor's Note: Satellite transmission broke up several times during this call.) Hey, this is Dave at Everest Base Camp at 17,500 feet, and another . . . We went up through the first half dozen ladders again just getting our exercise it wasn't as crowded up there today. . . as yesterday. . . there were still plenty of Sherpas coming down after carrying . . . Blue sky and sunshine for the morning... snow in the late afternoon. What's go on with the rest of our team, for the moment just about everybody is down here. The Sherpas built Advance Base Camp, Camp II and our two Sherpa cooks stayed up there, so that camp is ready. Okay, bye for now.
