Hello great outdoors.com this is Dave Hahn at Everest. Things are starting to happen kind of quickly after what seemed like a lot of down time. Now the route is going ahead pretty quickly. The first three members of our team are sleeping at camp I tonight. Two of us our Sherpas, Danaru and Nima Tenzing, made it all the way up to Camp II to secure the place we like at Camp II, Advance Base Camp, at around 21,000 feet, so the route has been pushed that far just like that all of a sudden. Down here at base camp there was a multiple team meeting hosted at our base camp by Mark Tucker. Had a bunch of teams in, guides in from Alpine Ascents International and Adventure Consultants, fair number of our friends and a few folks we didn't know--there was a Polish team, a Spanish team, Swiss team, all sorts of teams talking over base camp business and climbing safety and just getting to know each other. A good start to the season. Things are going well. My leg's getting better, I should be up and climbing again in a few days. Talk to you soon.
