Hey GreatOutdoors.com, this is Dave Hahn at the foot of mount Everest still, sounds like the wind is blowing like crazy up above, just roaring up above, not so bad down here at base camp. We're doing okay, the rest of our climbing group came back from Island Peak today, so we're all together again up here now. Some of our climbers have been poking into the icefall a little bit here and there but the route hasn't really been finished until today. The Icefall doctors have been hard at work and pushed it through to the Camp I area so we've got a route. Our Sherpas are going ahead with a carry tomorrow so I'm hoping to get nice and early and accompany them up there We'll see, I smacked my knee on a rock this evening, see if it swells up, I might have to take a day off. Otherwise I'm going up. We'll talk to you tomorrow.
