Hello GreatOutdoors.com. This is Dave Hahn. I'm on the International Mountain Guides 2006 Everest Nepal Trip. We've just gotten up to Lobuche, about 16,000 feet, we're still a couple of days from Base Camp, but now we're getting up where it's high and cold. Things are going pretty well. Weather hasn't been bad at all. We maybe had a couple of snow flurries the other day down at Dingboche but that was about it. So we've been blessed with some nice clear, sunny days, and as I say, as we're getting up a little higher here it's getting a little colder, but still pretty good climbing weather. We're about the first climbing team in on this side this year there are a few trekking teams around that we are encountering, but not many others as far as climbers go. Our team is doing pretty well. We're a pretty big group right now we've got a trekking component and a few climbers for Island Peak and the Icefall . . .(satellite transmission breaks up).
