Hey GreatOutdoors. This is Dave Hahn I'm calling form Gorak Shep, we're just up above 170000 feet, today we walked up form Lobuche and we walked up in no time it only took us just under two hours to get up hear, and another beautiful day, calm, blue sky, sunshine, we're really getting spoiled, getting used to it. We made good use of our time when we got up here, we headed up Kala Pattar and climbed up to oh about 18,200 feet above sea level, got great views of the southwest face of Everest, and Lhotse, and Nuptse, just spectacular watching ice avalanches come down off the flanks of Nuptse. It was great, Just a nice time of day up there. Just starting to cloud up making things a little bit interesting visually but no problems for us. Everybody is feeling pretty good, going pretty well. We're really looking forward to going into base camp tomorrow, that shouldn't bee too much work for us as long as we have a good night tonight, we're doing okay so far. Had a great dinner at the Himalayan Lodge up here, this will be our last night in the tea houses, we'll be in tents starting tomorrow. Bye for now.
