Hey this is Dave Hahn, I'm standing here in Lobuche, another night in Lobuche, stars are out tonight, it got cloudy again in the afternoon, but amazingly, another beautiful day, sunshine, blue sky, calm day. We were just resting here today, we went out for a walk on the moraine of the great Khulmbu glacier, kind of scary to see how much the glacier is thinning at this point, it seems to have thinned by a couple of hundred feet in some areas around here in pretty recent times. We had a nice day walking around, looking around. Practiced a little bit on the boulders around Lobuche, talked to people, played games, it was nice to see some of our team coming down from Base Camp on their way to Island Peak, they had already been at base camp for a few days as part of the greater IMG team, now they are headed for Island, it was nice to see Casey Grom and Mike Haugen, couple of fellow Mount Rainier guides, heading that way, then they are going to come back up to Base Camp in a bout a weeks time. But we're going to move to Gork Shep tomorrow, everybody is feeling good in my little group, feeling strong, so we'll move to Gorak Shep and perhaps we'll get a walk up Kala Pattar and get a look at Mount Everest. Talk to you tomorrow.
